Higher Education Grants

Development of new 3 + 2 MS, hybrid/online MS, and a hybrid doctoral degree program funded by a Promoting Postbaccalaureate Opportunities for Hispanic Americans Program (PPOHA) grant, Colorado State University Pueblo, Pueblo, Colorado.

ENSCO recently awarded a $571 million contract to provide research, development, testing, engineering, and training services at the new Transportation Technology Center (TTC) in Pueblo, Colorado. The TTC is the new center for all U.S. rail and surface transportation. CSU Pueblo is the education and training part of C-STARR, a consortium of eight leading universities and academic research centers associated with the TTC.

One of our principals consulted with CSU Pueblo’s TTC lead, Dr. John Williamson, on the inclusion of graduate level engineering courses in the curriculum. Educational technology grant with Dr. Donna Allen to fund development of department’s first online class: “Introduction to Teaching”. Part of successful grant application for $ 1.5 million from National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH Grant No. EP 29179-77-1321) that awarded $ .75 million for development of course on Native American history in the Americas written from the Native American point of view. Accepted for use by 64 U.S. universities developed course syllabus as part of successful grant application for $ 1.5 million from National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH Grant No. EP 29179-77-1321) that awarded $ .75 million for development of course on Native American history in the United States written from the Native American point of view.
